Heart Caller

Heart Caller is takes place in an alternate near future, where humanity has to defend itself against an onslaught of flesh hungry sea monsters called the E.F.F.s. In order to defend itself the Blissscythe corporation created the vessels, suits of mechanized armor. These vessels to be worn by a new legion of knights fit for the modern day for humanity to combat the E.F.F. threat... but there's also something about cute anime girls...kissing each other...strange....

Gameplay
In this game you spend your time split, between visual novel cut-scenes where you spend time with Kate and Mira and watch their budding romance blossom.  

In the other half you spend your time fending off the E.F.F.s in the on rails shooter sections, swatting through swarms of enemies and bosses to be able to defend humanity from the monsters beneath the waves.

Story
Kate is a bubbly if cautious a young woman who's only just scraped through the entrance exam to become a knight and adjusting to her new job isn't easy.  Adjusting becoming much more complicated after she meets Mira, who's dashing, sharp and basically totally her type. However Kate's been burned by relationships before and just doesn't know if this will work out. Especially with her boss with a few mild megalomaniacal tendencies, Kate truly has her work set out for her.

Possibly around 1-2 hours of contents but that might depend on how fast you read/progress through the game. There are 4 levels in total to be able to play-through .
